The DJF Foundation Mission

The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation is a national organization focused on adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).  The mission of our volunteer-run organization is to develop, advocate for and award grants to programs that create innovative ways for the diverse population of adults with ASD to participate in and contribute to community life.  The role-model adult programs developed and funded by The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation can be found throughout the United States and include residential, vocational, educational and recreational opportunities that are suitable and sustainable.  We have also pioneered groundbreaking initiatives that enhance health and wellness, provide support systems and promote understanding of co-morbid health conditions that impact ASD.

We welcome and appreciate your support of our national efforts to create programs that offer opportunities for the best and most productive lives possible for all adults affected by ASD.

The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation was inspired by the life of Danny Fiddle and the realization that there is a vast deficiency of residential, recreational, vocational, educational and family oriented programs that benefit adolescents and adults with Autism.

The goal of The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation is to honor the individuality of each person with Autism throughout his or her life by creating opportunities for adolescents and adults to participate in the community that are suitable, stimulating and sustainable.

An integral part of The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation’s mission is to provide community outreach and education regarding the life span issues associated with Autism and this is accomplished through the foundation’s involvement in community-based events and our educational and awareness materials.

Our guiding principle is that it is an attainable goal for each individual with Autism to reach their fullest potential.

The Board of Trustees of The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation is committed to finding, developing and supporting exemplary programs for adolescents and adults with Autism through grant giving.

The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation was established to develop, advocate for and award grants to programs that expand opportunities for adults affected by Autism to be participants and contributors to community life. Autism Spectrum Disorder is manifested by a wide array of attributes which may affect an individual’s social, behavioral or cognitive functioning and it is a lifespan challenge. Through The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation’s collaborative program development and grant giving endeavors, it is our goal to honor the individuality of every person with Autism so that each may participate throughout their lifetime in vocational, recreational, educational and residential opportunities that are suitable, stimulating and sustainable and allow for maximum integration in the community.  An integral part of The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation’s mission is to support community outreach and education regarding the life span issues associated with Autism and this is accomplished through the Foundation’s involvement in community-based events, development of educational materials that enhance awareness and advocacy efforts on the state and national levels.
