Advancing Futures for Adults with Autism                                                                                                                                            A national consortium seeking to attain meaningful futures for adults on the spectrum that includes employment, housing and community life and support.  Public policy initiatives have included a Congressional Briefing in July, 2010 on issues relating to adults and autism.  Linda Walder Fiddle and The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation are on the Steering Committee of this initiative.

Autism Spectrum Disorder: Pervasive Developmental Disorders
The Department of Health and Human Services along with the National Institute of Mental in 2004 released a report with information regarding Autism and other Pervasive Developmental Disorders.

Center for Disease Control and Prevention: Learn the Signs. Act Early.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD), in collaboration with a number of national partners, launched a public awareness campaign called “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” with the goal of educating parents about childhood development, including early warning signs of Autism and other developmental disorders, and encourages developmental screening and intervention.
