Linda Walder Fiddle Receives "Evangelina Menendez Trailblazer Award" from US Senator Robert Menendez

Linda Walder Fiddle, Founder and Executive Director of The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation was a recipient of the "Evangelina Menendez Trailblazer Award" from United States Senator Robert Menendez on Sunday, March 11, 2012. The award was presented by the Senator and his children Alicia and Rob, in honor of Women's History Month to six pioneering New Jersey women for their leadership in their given fields. Ms. Walder Fiddle was the first recipient in the field of Autism to receive the award; she was noted to be a leader in the Autism community who has opened doors for adults living with Autism throughout the nation. Walder Fiddle was joined by her family, colleagues and friends at the ceremony that featured a keynote address by Lisa P. Jackson, Administrator, Environmental Protection Agency, Remarks by Dr. Carlos Hernandez, President of New Jersey City University and Mistress of Ceremonies, April Woodard, one of the nation's leading broadcasters.
