Signature Programs

This program located in Cicero, Indiana exemplifies the power that equine therapy has to improve comprehension, listening skills, self-help skills and social skills.  Adults on the spectrum receive that riding instruction in the indoor arena, trail riding with sensory integration activities, crafts and barn activities all designed to empower their independence.
West Bergen’s Asperger’s Related Services sponsors Camp SOAR, a day camp for children with ASD. The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation launched the SOAR CIT Training Program in 2009 and it continues today to enable teens and young adults with ASD to be trained and work as Counselors-in-Training (CITs) while mastering vocational and mentoring skills.
The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation has co-developed programs with leading service providers that offer real world job training and employment for adults. One example of a program we collaborated with was SEARCH Day Program’s Adult Activities Center that offers work experience via contracts from industry as well as off-campus employment opportunities.
The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation created the opportunity for members of the Miracle Project to record  their original music along with Broadway actors in a professional recording studio and get paid for their work as recording artists.
The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation and our long time colleagues at Broadway Adult Medical Daycare Program in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, established a wide array of vocational and employment programs tailored to the needs of adults with ASD who require more support to work.
The purpose of The Danny Fiddle Arts Enrichment Fund is to create community-based opportunities for Gillen Brewer students to engage in hands-on art and science related programs and curriculum that will enhance their classroom studies and participation in community life. Since its inception in 2016, The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation Leader in Adult Autism Award is awarded annually at the national conference of the Autism Society of America. The purpose of this award is to recognize those individuals, organizations, service providers, employers and professionals who exemplify the attributes of determination and vision that inspire all of us to realize and
The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation and the Ridgewood, New Jersey YMCA developed a program for families at Camp Bernie so that they could enjoy outdoor adventures and arts activities while sharing a mini-vacation that is often so difficult for families to experience. Family respite and support is a lifelong need and is a central aspect of our adult autism mission.
The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation partnered with GHA Autism Supports on Carolina Farms, located in Albemarle, North Carolina, to design and implement a program for adults on the spectrum to realize their dream of living and working in a farming environment.    
The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation and Arts Unbound Studio and Gallery, located in Orange, New Jersey, developed and implemented an artist training program (sometimes taught by artists on the spectrum) resulting in gallery exhibitions at their galleries and in the community. Artists were able to sell their works, and even launch a pop-up store.
The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation believes that quality of life is enhanced by health and wellness. In partnership with Fountain House, Inc., Boy Scouts diagnosed with ASD seeking to attain their Eagle Scout badge, along with Fountain House members, built a two-mile wildlife habitat trail. A few years later, exercise stations and sensory fitness activities were added to The Daniel Jordan
The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation Ignition Grant created opportunities for participants to  share ideas and challenges relating to forming friendships and dating through a variety of specific support groups including LGBTQ. There were also many experiential opportunities for participants to learn about dating skills, creating an on-line dating profile and improving communication skills in interpersonal relationships.
